Coast Transit Authority Title VI Policy Statement
CTA, a federal grant recipient, is required by the Federal Transit Administration to conform with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its amendments. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act requires that no person in the United States, shall on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from, be denied the benefits
of, or subjected to discrimination, under any program or activity receiving federal assistance. The rights of minority, low income individuals with limited English proficiency, women, the elderly and the disabled are protected under related statutes. Any person(s) or firms who feel that they have been discriminated against are encouraged to report such violations to CTA at: Coast Transit
