Visitors and residents can count on Hancock County to be
a fun place with celebrations and festivals. There’s not a better time to kick back than the Second Saturday of each month when Old Town Bay St. Louis becomes a big block party from 4 to 7 p.m. Shops stay open late, live music fills the air, and merchants serve snacks and drinks.
Sponsored by the Old Town Merchants Association, Second Saturday is known far and wide. Businesses in the one hundred and two hundred blocks of Main Street are chosen as ‘hot spots.’ That’s where the musicians set up, a sure way to draw crowds.
Not only are Second Saturdays an opportunity for local businesses to shine and showcase their wares, but extra business is brought into town. Buyers and sellers alike look forward to this special monthly event when Old Town comes alive.
