To love South Mississippi is to love its people,
and United Way of South Mississippi (UWSM)
is a nonprofit charitable organization that truly understands the unique struggles that many people in South Mississippi experience. UWSM serves Harrison, Hancock, Pearl River, and Stone Counties and is dedicated to improving the quality of life in South Mississippi by focusing on creating measurable outcomes in the areas of literacy, early childhood education, health and financial stability.
UWSM is governed by a local board and staffed by local South Mississippians. When you make a donation to United Way of South Mississippi, 99 cents out of every dollar donated stays right here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
